Ma’ayan Vodovis

Ma’ayan Vodovis is one of our two Kitah Aleph teachers this year. She is a senior at the University of Delaware, where she is majoring in Global Political Science and minoring in Legal and Jewish Studies.

Born in Haifa, Israel, Morah Ma’ayan has lived in Wilmington most of her life, and comes from a family of many Hebrew speakers. She is honored to follow her mother and grandmother's footsteps as a Hebrew School teacher (her Grandmother, Ann Jaffe, is a Holocaust Survivor and has spoken to thousands in the greater Wilmington area about her experiences in the Shoah).

This is Ma’ayan's first year teaching at Beth Shalom Hebrew School and she is very excited! Partnering with an experienced teacher like Rachel Mussaf will allow them both to use their strengths to complement each other!
