Rachel Kessman is the new Co-Teacher for Kitah Hey (5th grade on Sundays) after being a substitute Hebrew School teacher last year. She is from Westchester, New York and is a Sophomore Communications major at the University of Delaware. Rachel has volunteered at her synagogue (Temple Beth Abraham in Tarrytown, NY) for many years as a peer mentor, as well as the youngest Shofar blower ever in the history of her synagogue. She is very excited to be working with Dina Lipschultz this year, as well getting to know the parents and students of Congregation Beth Shalom through the growing Kadima (5th – 8th grade CBS youth group) program! Rachel even helped staff the Kadima Havdalah and Bowling trip last year with over twenty-five kids!
