B'nei Mitzvah - B'Yachad!
Becoming a bar/bat mitzvah signifies being an adult member of our community. Our b’nei mitzvah program combines families and synagogue staff into a powerful team to create inclusive and beautiful ceremonies. Families are guided through every step of the b’nei mitzvah journey and have regular contact with a b’nei mitzvah coordinator. Our b’nei mitzvah students work closely with both Rabbi Michael and Cantor Elisa to ensure a meaningful religious experience.
Resources for Students
Below are resources you can use to study your Torah and Haftarah, practice your service leading, prepare your d’var (speech) and more!
Resources for Parents
This is a big occasion in your lives as well! We strive to make the Bar/Bat Mitzvah process a meaningful experience for the whole family and our community. We call our program "B'ychad" to share that we are all in this "together." To that end, our Youth Advisor and B'nei Mitzvah Coordinator, Bryan A., YouthEngagement@cbswilmde.org or 302.654.4462 x23, is available to answer your questions and address your concerns. Additionally, we have these additional resources for you to use to help you plan your child's special day.

Note: Many of the PDFs on this page contain prayers which denote Adonai (God). As such, we ask that if you print these items, please do not dispose of them in your recycling or trash bins. Instead, please bring them back to the synagogue, so that we properly bury the items in a ritually appropriate way.
