High Holy Days 5781

Shalom!

Welcome to the High Holy Days 5781. Okay, It is not quite what you were expecting, then again, nothing is quite what we were all expecting. Yet, if history is any guide to our future, we will weather this storm. We will build and rebuild again and we will be stronger, healthier, and ever more resilient than we were before.

We have lost friends and family this year. Some passed on simply by time moving forward. And others, we have lost through sicknesses and diseases that we only wish we had cures to remedy. We remember them all and pray for the health and well being of their families.

But 5780 has not all been marked with sadness. We have seen the beauty of life enter this year. We have welcomed several new families and newborns to our congregation. We can’t wait to meet you in person and see what great ideas you have to enrich our synagogue.

May you be inscribed with good health and sweet blessings! L’Shana Tova Tikatevu - um’tukeah!

B’Shalom,
Hayim Seth Weiss
